At Jina Gonzalez Jewelry we take data privacy seriously. Article 24 of the Political Constitution of the Republic of Costa Rica, and Law No. 8968, on the Protection of the Person against the processing of their personal data, obliges us to protect your privacy and not to misuse your data or other information.

We may from time to time introduce new products and services and notify you where such products and services may affect this policy in any way.

Article 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Gato Negro will keep a record of your billing transactions and purchases, and of any communications and responses.

We follow the generally accepted standards along with Law No. 8968, on the Protection of the Person against the processing of their personal data to protect the personal information that is sent to us, both during transmission and once received. However, no security measure is perfect. We recommend that you protect your password, as it is an easy way to manage the security of your account.

Article 9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCESS
9.1. Most customer concerns can be resolved quickly and to the customer’s satisfaction by contacting our Customer Service Center (info@jinagonzalez.com). In the unlikely event that the Customer Service Center is unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction (or if it has been unable to resolve a dispute it has with you after trying to do so informally), we will agree to resolve those disputes through binding arbitration rather than in a court of general jurisdiction. Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator rather than a judge and allows for faster settlement of claims than a court, and is subject to very limited review by courts.
9.2. In the unlikely event that a dispute arises between you and us regarding our handling of your Personal User Information, we will do our best to resolve it. If we cannot, the claims will be referred to mediation, before and as a condition precedent to the initiation of any action or adjudication procedure, including arbitration determined according to Law No. 7727, on Alternative Conflict Resolution and Promotion of Social Peace, which is held at the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce, by delivering a written notice to that effect to all other Parties.
